published: wine country weddings magazine

I am absolutely tickled pink (and purple...) to share one of our most recent projects with you today - our wine country romance shoot that was recently published in the premiere issue of Wine Country Weddings Magazine! Remember this inspiration board and this sneak peek? Well here is the shoot in all it's blush pink and purple glory....

When Autumn, the editor of Wine Country Weddings Magazine, contacted me to do a shoot for the very first issue of her magazine I knew I wanted the shoot to romantic, elegant, but still laid back - all characteristics that come to mind when I think of wine country. I immediately knew that I wanted the color palette to range from blush pinks and deep purples with dark wood and stone accents. I'm normally not a fan of purple but there's something about deep plums and blackberry colors paired with blush pinks that just feels so right - it just screams romance and elegance. Once I had established the color palette and the overall look and feel (French meets Wine Country...rustic yet still elegant and refined) Laurel from Esla Events came on board and started working her creative design magic! From the picnic baskets to the love quote banner backdrops to the macaron boxes serving as seating cards - Laurel totally hit the nail on the head in terms of the design. And the rest of our team was phenomenal as well! Molly from MEF Photography captured our creations so beautifully, Leigh and Allison from Crimson Horticultural Rarities made my favorite floral centerpiece to date (I mean look at that thing! B-E-A-utiful!), Sift Cupcakes (a recent winner on Cupcake Wars! So cool, right!?) knocked it out of the park with her yummy creations, and Aerialist Press created paper products that really tied everything together.

What do you think of this color palette? Is this a look you'd want for your wine country wedding?

To see more of the shoot head on over to the first issue of Wine Country Weddings Magazine! And be sure to check out all of our collaborators' websites for lots more inspiration!
